I think we’re finally getting close to having a rhythm again. We are settling in to this as our home.
As everything around us blossoms and comes into fullness, so do we.

Recently, I signed up for The Abundant Mama’s #BanBusyChallenge.
It has been a good reminder for me to reaffirm what I know to be true — deliberate, intentional, and slow living allow us to savor and enjoy life instead of rushing through it. As the Abundant Mama reminds us, we are often obsessed with “busyness” because we are afraid of failing. We want to prove ourselves over and over again by filling our time with more, more, more.
When we slow down someone might see us as lazy, we might have to face our own imperfections, and we feel that we might miss something. Happy Ostara! Today is the Vernal Equinox, a time when day and night are equal and we are headed toward longer days in the Northern hemisphere.
We are officially in the midst of Spring, even if it doesn’t quite feel like it yet in your neck of the woods. The days are definitely getting longer and the signs of spring are all around!
Will you be doing anything to celebrate this time of rebirth, growth, and promise? Today is a great day to do some spring-related activities and crafts! Continue reading
We went for a leisurely walk around the neighborhood. Sounds of chickadees, red winged blackbirds, and woodpeckers calling, “Spring! Spring! Spring!” Continue reading
The weekend was so full that I was unable to put this together yesterday. However, I’d still like to share what I was grateful for this past week!
