We went for a leisurely walk around the neighborhood.  Sounds of chickadees, red winged blackbirds, and woodpeckers calling, “Spring! Spring! Spring!”

The contrast between wild nature and human nature is stark here.

But there is still much to hear, observe, and appreciate.

Truly, the snow melts away quickly.  Only little patches remain.

Signs of the past appear in the thickets.

Signs of the future are all around, too.

It was one of this little one’s warmest days yet.  I am so excited to continue sharing nature with her.
