Tree Swallows

I discovered a clutch of tree swallows in a duck nest box in the urban park I’ve explored with you before.

I felt like a real wildlife photographer as I waited patiently with my camera poised for these shots.  The mother swallow is quick! And very busy.

Waiting….

Waiting….

MOM! MOM! MOM! HERE WE ARE! HERE WE ARE!! WE’RE HERE!!!!!

Yummmmm….bugs.

Such devoted parents!

Have you found any exciting nests this year?

  1. Wow, what patience! And I hate to use adjectives like ‘cute’ and ‘endearing’ but those little swallows really are both. Good job!
